AmCham Tunisia Leadership Meets with U.S. Ambassador Bill Bazzi

Tunis, Tunisia – The American Chamber of Commerce in Tunisia had the honor of hosting the newly appointed U.S. Ambassador to Tunisia,

Mr. Bill Bazzi, during a recent visit to its headquarters. The meeting, presided over by Mr. Marouane Ben Jemaa, President of the Chamber, marked a significant step toward strengthening economic relations between Tunisia and the United States.

During the visit, Ambassador Bill Bazzi engaged in fruitful discussions with the Chamber’s Board of Directors, emphasizing the importance of enhancing bilateral trade and investment opportunities. The Ambassador expressed his commitment to fostering a robust economic partnership that benefits both nations, highlighting the potential for collaboration in various sectors, including technology, agriculture, IT, automotive, aerospace, and energy.

Mr. Ben Jemaa welcomed the Ambassador and reiterated the Chamber’s dedication to promoting a favorable business environment in Tunisia. He outlined the Chamber’s initiatives aimed at supporting American businesses looking to invest in Tunisia and encouraging Tunisian enterprises to explore opportunities in the U.S. market.

The meeting concluded with a shared vision for the future, focusing on initiatives that will facilitate trade, encourage innovation, and create jobs in both countries. The American Chamber of Commerce looks forward to working closely with Ambassador Bazzi and the U.S. Embassy to realize these goals.
