Mohamed BenRhouma was born in
1972 and is married with two children.
He graduated Cum Laude from the
University of South Carolina, in 1996
with a Bachelors degree in Business
Administration with a double major in
management and marketing and
recently received an MBA from MSB
University in 2011.
He has worked in the textile industry,
electronic industry, retail business,
Internet industry and communication and media sector. He is currently the CEO of a
public listed company Cellcom and has been in this position since 2002.
He created the EVERTEK brand in 2006 and launched the first EVERTEK mobile phone
in August 2008. Today, EVERTEK is number three in terms of market share in Tunisia.
EVERTEK is also sold in other countries such as Morocco, Ivory Coast and is looking
to expand in the near future to other countries. MBR also created another brand of
accessories, Hi Line, and launched in 2012 the Everpad.
Mohamed is a board member in amcham (Tunisian American chamber of Commerce),
he is also the current president of the Tunisian Chinese counsil of Affairs.
In 2012, Mohamed created an association (ATTAC), Association Tunisien de Travail et
Aide a la Creation, which is based on the principles of the Chinese proverb, “Give a
man to fish and he’ll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he’ll eat for life.”
